Why we must be the focus of a district

We must remain WHOLE and be separated from the City of Winter Garden and the historic communities to the north. Horizon West is the fastest-growing area in all of Orange County, yet our infrastructure has not kept pace with that growth.

What was promised to us in planning and development has not materialized. Roads are failing, schools are overcrowded, and essential services lag far behind. As an unincorporated area, we have no city government to fight for us, we rely solely on county representation. That’s why we need a commissioner focused entirely on our needs, not split between competing regions with different priorities such as the northern municipalities and older communities.

Our master-planned community is growing exponentially and projected to nearly double in population, we must preserve space for that future and separate from our northern neighbors lest our district become the most overpopulated once again in just a few short years.
